Distinguished Service to Veterans Award accepting nominees for 2026

The City of Fort Worth's annual Distinguished Service to Veterans Award recognizes individuals, businesses or groups who have demonstrated remarkable dedication to Fort Worth's veteran community - and nominations are currently being accepted.
Residents can submit an individual, business or group for their service from Aug. 31, 2025, through Sept. 1, 2026. Nominees must reside in Fort Worth, and their contributions must have a demonstrated impact on veterans in the city. Eligible individuals must provide their support voluntarily and not through an organization or as part of their professional responsibilities.
Nominations must be submitted through the online application, which will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026.
Award winners will be announced at Fort Worth's annual Veterans Day Parade on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
