Chinese Ambassador to PNG Yang Xiaoguang Attends Commissioning Ceremony of the Napa Napa Solar Project in Central Province

On April 14, Chinese Ambassador to PNG H.E. Yang Xiaoguang attended the commissioning ceremony of the Napa Napa Solar Project in Central Province. Minister for State Enterprises Hon. William Duma, Minister for National Planning Hon. Ano Pala, Member of Parliament Hon. Keith Iduhu, as well as representatives from the local government and Chinese enterprises were present.

In his remarks, Ambassador Yang highlighted China's achievements in clean energy development and reviewed the outcomes of practical cooperation between China and PNG. He emphasized that China remains committed to contributing to and providing impetus for global development through its own growth. The 15th Five-Year Plan outline has charted the course for China's development over the next five years. China stands ready to continue sharing development opportunities with PNG and other countries to achieve common prosperity.

In their addresses, PNG Ministers and the MP expressed appreciation for China's longstanding support to PNG's economic and social development, and reaffirmed their willingness to work with China to further deepen cooperation across various fields and promote greater development of bilateral relations.
