Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands Shen Bo Meets with Dutch Minister for Food Security, Fisheries and Horticulture

On April 21, H.E. Mr. Shen Bo, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, met with H.E. Mr. Silvio Erkens, Minister for Food Security, Fisheries and Horticulture of the Netherlands. The two sides shared views on agricultural cooperation and exchanges. Ambassador Shen elaborated that China is willing to strengthen institutional dialogue with the Netherlands in the agricultural sector, deepen trade, investment, and industrial cooperation, and to promote more pragmatic results in agricultural cooperation between the two sides.

Minister Silvio Erkens stated that the Netherlands highly values agricultural cooperation with China and hopes to strengthen communication and exchanges with China to further enhance cooperation in areas such as agricultural trade, specialty horticulture, and food safety.

Counselor Jin Yuan of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands was also present at the meeting.
