Update: Lane shifts on East Green Meadows Road and Veterans United Parkway to take place May 4 and 6
(COLUMBIA, MO) - Road work on East Green Meadows Road and Veterans United Parkway will now take place Monday, May 4, and Wednesday, May 6. This updates the previously announced schedule.
Engineering Surveys and Services will perform pavement testing on behalf of the City of Columbia Public Works department. The work is part of preparation for a future capital improvement project, with construction anticipated in 2027-28.
Work will begin at 5:30 a.m. and conclude by 7 p.m. each day. During this time, driving lanes will shift to allow traffic to use center turn lanes while testing is underway.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the area and watch for workers and equipment.
