Beginning Aug. 15, the campus community should expect increased traffic and pedestrian activity as new and returning students arrive for move-in.

Plan accordingly for delays in the following areas:

  • West Campus.
  • Techwood Drive.
  • Centennial Olympic Park Drive (East Campus and North Avenue move-in).
  • Tenth Street (graduate housing).

Additionally, drivers should abide by all posted signage, including parking notices and "No Parking" signs, as these areas are necessary for resident check-in, unloading, and short-term parking.

Some parking areas will be reserved for move-in use only. If you park in the following areas, see alternate parking locations for move-in days:

  • W10 - Campus Recreation Deck
    • Alternate parking location: W02 - Student Center Deck
  • ER54 - North Avenue Apartments South Deck
    • Alternate parking location: Park on levels 2 and 3 only
  • WR29 - On-street parking near Armstrong/Hefner Residence Halls (West Campus Residential)
    • Alternate parking location: W31 - Institute of Paper Science and Technology (IPST) Lot
  • ER51 - On-street parking near Gray/Hayes Residence Halls (Southeast Housing)
    • Alternate parking location: E52 - Peters Deck
