Norfolk Southern Railroad Work to Close Portion of Davie Street
Davie Street beneath the railroad bridge, located between South Elm Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, will be closed beginning at 7 am on Tuesday, September 29, while Norfolk Southern conducts work on a railroad switch. The work is expected to be completed the same day.
Motorists should use caution and follow posted detour signs in the area while work is being completed.
Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and material/equipment availability.
