Utilities leadership to discuss new water capacity for west Bellevue

Bellevue Utilities staff, including Director Lucy Liu and Deputy Director Joe Harbour, will host a community meeting Thursday, Oct. 8, to discuss the planned Meydenbauer South Reservoir, which will support growth and firefighting needs across western Bellevue.

When complete, the new reservoir will be the largest in Bellevue and an important investment in the city's water system for the future. The meeting will be 6:30-8 p.m. at City Hall, in Room 1E-108.

"This is a great opportunity for community members to ask questions," Liu noted. "We look forward to sharing more about why this project is important, what to expect during construction and how it will help us prepare Bellevue's water system for the future."
