Chinese Embassy in Guyana Hosts Reception Celebrating the 77th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

On September 17, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Guyana hosted a reception celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Guyanese President Irfaan Ali, Prime Minister Mark Phillips, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hugh Todd, other Cabinet Ministers, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives of the Chinese community attended the event.
