Addition of the Trial Version of “Location-Specific City Weather” Service for Cities in the Republic of Korea and Thailand on the “MyObservatory”

The Observatory has released a new version of the "MyObservatory" mobile application (iOS version 7.16, Android version 5.21, Huawei version 5.21), further expanding its location-specific weather services. In addition to Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, the app now adds location-specific weather information for multiple cities in the Republic of Korea and Thailand, offering the official weather observations and forecast information provided by the This link will open in a new windowKorea Meteorological Administration and the This link will open in a new windowThai Meteorological Department . With auto-positioning enabled, users can also access the latest weather information for their located cities. Even when travelling in these countries, users can rely on the "MyObservatory" app to stay updated with the latest official local weather information to help plan their trips. The trial version of the "Location-Specific City Weather" page on the "MyObservatory" provides the weather observations, forecast information and sunrise and sunset times for multiple cities in the Republic of Korea and Thailand. "Location-Specific City Weather" page shows the weather information of the cities where the users are located (in case the automatic location service is turned on) and the user-selected cities.
