Update of Google Street View images in Luxembourg

06/05/2026

Google will resume image collection for its Street View service on 6 May 2026.

The areas covered are indicated on a dedicated Google webpage under the section "Where we are mapping this month". Routes may be affected by weather or technical conditions.

During the collection of images for Street View, Google automatically blurs faces and vehicle licence plates in order to protect individuals' privacy and anonymity.

If you notice that Google's technology failed to detect and blur a face or a vehicle licence plate, or if you wish to request additional blurring of a specific image (of yourself, your family, your house or your car), you may contact Google online in order to exercise your right to object by following these steps:

  • Locate the image in Street View.
  • Click on "Report a problem" in the bottom right corner of the image window.
  • Complete the form and click on "Submit".
