Bob Ross-inspired virtual 5K supports tree planting in SC State Parks

Columbia, S.C. - Run, walk, paddle, or roll to complete your Run for Trees: Happy Little 5K, a virtual race inspired by the late artist, Bob Ross, and his love for nature. Participants can complete their 3.1 miles anytime between April 18 and April 26, the week we celebrate both Earth Day (April 22) and Arbor Day (April 24). All proceeds support efforts to plant trees and protect forests in state parks.
Registration is $36 per person. Each participant receives a soft tee, commemorative race bib, Happy Little sticker, and reclaimed wood finishers' medal. Register here: https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/Lansing/RunForTheTreesHappyLittle5K. Select the South Carolina event during registration.
The Happy Little 5K is hosted by the Bob Ross Company in partnership with 17 states, including South Carolina. Racers can complete the 3.1-mile event anytime between April 18-26 on foot or by bike, skate, paddle, or mobility device, at any pace and any place outdoors.
