Potential vendors invited to pre-bid meeting for café and store concessions at Cave-In-Rock State Park

SPRINGFIELD - The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) invites interested vendors to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting for the operation of concessions at Cave-In-Rock State Park in Hardin County.

The pre-bid meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28 at the park restaurant in Cave-in-Rock. Participants will receive information about the bid submission process, contract terms, operational expectations and concession requirements.


Interested vendors are encouraged to register on BidBuy , the State of Illinois' online procurement system. Registration is free. Additional information about the concession opportunity and pre-bid meeting is available through BidBuy online . Vendors can search NIGP code 961-15 to receive notifications about upcoming IDNR concession pre-bid meetings.
Cave-In-Rock State Park
is located at 1 New State Park Road in Cave-In-Rock. The park - featuring fishing, boating, hiking and camping opportunities - drew more than 433,000 visitors in 2025.
