UM-Flint's Department of Public Safety welcomed children and families back to campus for the 12th annual Touch-a-Truck, Sept. 21, in the William S. White Building parking lot. The day turned the university into a hands-on showcase of police cars, fire engines and utility vehicles, giving kids the chance to climb aboard, sound sirens, and meet the professionals who operate them. The event highlights safety, learning and fun in a family-friendly setting that brings the community together.
