Boise State University's College of Business and Economics is proud to announce the launch of its new MBA in Analytics, a full-time, in-person cohort program designed to equip early-career professionals with the analytical, technical and business skills increasingly sought by employers across industries. While the program conducted a soft launch in Fall 2025, Boise State is now officially accepting applications for the Fall 2026 cohort.
The MBA in Analytics was developed to meet significant market and student demand for graduate-level analytics training, combining the rigor of a traditional MBA with advanced analytical skill-building. The program offers two emphasis pathways tailored to students' backgrounds and career goals:
Integrated into the Full-Time (Career Track) MBA, the MBA in Analytics shares the same core curriculum and cohort learning experience that has defined Boise State's Full-time MBA program for years. Students in both programs learn side-by-side, strengthening the multidisciplinary problem-solving skills that employers value.
Designed for recent graduates, early-career professionals, and career changers, the MBA in Analytics prepares students for in-demand roles across sectors such as technology, finance, health care, manufacturing, government and consulting.
"The need for strong analytics talent is clear, and organizations are looking for leaders who can make sense of complex information and apply it in practical ways," said Mark Bannister, dean of the College of Business and Economics. "This new MBA gives our students the tools and confidence to step into a data-driven world. They will leave here ready to contribute, ready to lead, and ready to make a meaningful impact in the businesses and communities they serve."
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until Aug. 1, or until the cohort is full. Students interested in being considered for Graduate Assistantships are strongly encouraged to apply by Feb. 1. Unique to most MBA programs, neither of these full-time MBA programs require a background in business or work experience.
