Today, on the margins of the 81st UN General Assembly (UNGA), First Lady Melania Trump's Fostering the Future Together secured seven new technology-sector partnerships to benefit children worldwide at an announcement event hosted by Special Envoy for Best Future Generations at the U.S. Department of State, Charity Wallace.
The new slate of best-in-class tech companies aligned with Fostering the Future Together include Adobe, Amazon, Google, Intel, N50, Starlink, and Zoom-all announcing partnerships with more than fifteen nations to invest educational and technological access and opportunity for children and youth worldwide.
The mission of Mrs. Trump's Fostering the Future Together initiative is to empower children through technology and education. Fostering the Future Together focuses on four key pillars: AI in Education; EdTech Tools, Online Protection, and Digital Skills.
The Department of State has worked closely with the White House to advance private-public partnerships that support children and equip the next generation to thrive in the digital age. Fifty-seven member nations have unified behind First Lady Melania Trump to drive this global initiative, including the First Spouses of France, Poland, UAE, Panama, Philippines, St. Kitts and Nevis, Israel, Morocco, Kenya, Turkey, and Republic of Korea.
