SBDC at FGCU Holds No-Cost Business Growth Workshop at Charlotte County Economic Development Office

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 2, 2025) - The Florida Small Business Development Center at Florida Gulf Coast University is partnering with the Charlotte County Economic Development Office to host a no-cost workshop, "Scaling Your Business," from 12-1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 18501 Murdock Circle, Suite 302, Port Charlotte.

The session is designed for entrepreneurs ready to move beyond the startup phase and build strategies for long-term, sustainable success. Attendees will learn how to scale revenue without scaling costs, streamline operations, strengthen leadership, and uncover new market opportunities. Through guided activities, participants will begin creating their own customized growth plans.

"This partnership with the SBDC at FGCU reflects our commitment to supporting the local business community," said Kay Tracy, director of the Charlotte County Economic Development Office. "Workshops like this give business owners practical tools and confidence to expand strategically, which strengthens both their companies and our local economy."
