Benefits Fair: Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025

The Benefits Fair is just around the corner! We will host this in-person event on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, in the Magnolia Ballroom/Student Activities Center from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Many of our benefit and retirement vendors will be present and committed to speaking directly to you on this day. They will bring materials specific to their area of expertise, and they may even have some goodies for you to leave with, so please come prepared with your questions. As of the morning of Oct. 1, the following vendors have confirmed their attendance:

• Aflac - Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity, etc.
• Anthem - Medical
• Corebridge - ORP, 403(b) and 457(b) vendor
• EyeMed - Vision
• Fidelity Investments - ORP, 403(b) and 457(b) vendor
• Georgia College Retiree Association
• GCSU Staff Council
• GCSU Wellness & Recreation Center
• HSA Bank - Flexible Savings Account, Health Savings Account (for those with the high deductible health plan)

• MetLife - Short- and Long-Term Disability, life insurance
• Teachers Retirement System of Georgia (TRS)
• TIAA - ORP, 403(b) and 457(b) vendor
• Truist Bank, Downtown Milledgeville - a community provider close to campus

The USG Benefits website has been an entire section on Open Enrollment (Oct. 27 - Nov. 7, 2025) for plan year 2026, including the new Comparison Guide with details on premiums, new features available through existing vendors and new offerings. We encourage you to check out the USG Benefits website for all things related to this season's Open Enrollment.

Benefits will be sharing additional information on the Benefits Fair, Open Enrollment and the Shared Sick Leave Program throughout the next four-to-five weeks. Please monitor the Daily Digest for updates.
