Interested parties meeting for Green Meadows Road and Bethel Street roundabout project to be held Aug. 13
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The City of Columbia Public Works department will host an informal open house meeting concerning the proposed Green Meadows Road and Bethel Street roundabout project. The meeting will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, in Conference Room 1A of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.
The purpose of this meeting is to share the design concept for a roundabout at the intersection of Green Meadows Road and Bethel Street in Columbia. The project will replace the existing intersection with the goal of improving safety and traffic flow.
Construction is currently planned to begin in summer 2028.
Residents and interested parties are encouraged to attend the open house to review preliminary design concepts, ask questions and provide feedback to City engineering staff. A public comment form will also be available at the meeting.
