I-75/I-69 interchange bridge deck repairs begin Aug. 30 in Genesee County

SAGINAW, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing approximately $348,000 to perform deck repairs on three bridges in the I-75/I-69 interchange in Genesee County. Work will include concrete patching.

Traffic Restrictions:
Traffic will be maintained with intermittent lane, ramp and shoulder closures. Work will be done on the I-69 westbound to southbound I-75, I-69 westbound to I-75 northbound, and I-75 northbound to Miller Road ramp structures.

Work will begin with the I-69 westbound to I-75 southbound ramp before proceeding to the other two ramps after Labor Day.

Jobs numbers:
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support about two jobs.

Safety Benefit:
This weather-dependent work will extend the lifespan of the structures and increase safety for motorists.
