SRM Concrete Opens New Ready-Mix Plant in Lafayette, Indiana

LAFAYETTE, IN - September 9, 2026

SRM Concrete announced today the opening of a new ready-mix concrete plant at its existing site in Lafayette, Indiana.

"We're excited to expand our operations in Lafayette with the addition of this new plant," said SRM Concrete CEO Jeff Hollingshead. "The market continues to grow, and this investment doubles the site's capacity and strengthens our ability to provide our customers in west-central Indiana with the quality concrete and reliable service they expect from SRM."

With two batch plants now operating on the property, the Lafayette site can reliably produce up to 280 cubic yards of concrete per hour. This marks the second significant investment SRM Concrete has made in Indiana this year, following the construction of a new plant at the Osceola location in July.
