More Than $592,000 Gifted to Charities by Kearny Bank During Fiscal 2026

FAIRFIELD, NJ (July 28, 2026) - A total of $592,295 was donated to charitable organizations by Kearny Bank during the 12-month period from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Made through the KearnyBank Foundation, these contributions supported nonprofit organizations throughout New Jersey and New York.

The largest Kearny Bank grants during the past year were $65,000 to Junior Achievement of New Jersey in support of student financial literacy and career readiness. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark received $50,000 for its Critical Repair Program, while $32,500 funded scholarships for high school students throughout New Jersey. Additional highlight grants included $18,000 to Tovah for its annual Back2School Store, at which Kearny Bank employees also volunteered; $18,000 as an event sponsor of the Robeson Classic High School All-Star Football Game; $15,000 to the Our House Foundation to help construct a new group home in Summit; $15,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton; and $14,000 to the Student/Partner Alliance.
