Omaha North Plant Opens in September 1969
This month in 1969, the North Plant planned to open its doors in Omaha, adding significant space for Lozier's operations. While the plant had targeted an earlier date, the Omaha World Herald reported that weather had pushed the opening date of the 200,000 square foot facility back to September. The $2-million dollar investment intended to draw 300 new employees to Lozier's operation.
