Oakland County Lab Agrees To Settle False Claims Act Allegations For $6,494,290.00
DETROIT - United States Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon Jr. announced today that Orchard Laboratories Corporation (Orchard) agreed to a settlement of $6,494,290.00 to resolve allegations that it violated the False Claims Act. Gorgon was joined in the announcement by Jennifer Runyan, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Detroit Division and Thomas Ethridge, Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG).
