HCA HealthONE Rose announces opening of new Sloan's Lake ER

Denver - HCA HealthONE Rose announces the opening of its newest freestanding ER as part of its continued expansion across the Denver metro area. Opening today, HCA HealthONE Sloan's Lake ER, A part of Rose, a more than 11,000-square-foot facility at 1690 Meade St. in Denver, provides a full range of medical services for children and adults experiencing emergent issues.

This new, state-of-the-art ER will be staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians and nurses, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, just like an ER that is housed within the walls of a hospital. Physicians and colleagues will treat a range of general and specific conditions, including infections, chest pain and broken bones, and will offer a number of diagnostic services on-site.

Designed to support timely evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, the new ER will feature:

• 12 private treatment rooms
• Digital diagnostic equipment, including CT, ultrasound and portable X-ray machines
• On-site laboratory
• Telemedicine technology with a specific focus on stroke care and behavioral health

As a freestanding emergency room affiliated with HCA HealthONE Rose, the new facility provides patients access to a connected network of care. When patients require additional hospital-based treatment, the emergency care team can coordinate medically appropriate transfers to HCA HealthONE Rose.
