SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

Title and OMB Number: EAC Progress Report (EAC-PR); OMB Control Number: 3265-0026.

Purpose: This proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on August 3, 2026 (91 FR, pp. 48847-48848) and allowed 60 days for public comment. The purpose of this notice is to allow an additional 30 days for public comment from all interested individuals and organizations.

The EAC-PR is employed for both interim and final progress reports for grants issued under HAVA authority. This format contains no changes to the report or instructions since the approved standard request in November 2023. The PR directly benefits award recipients by making it easier for them to administer federal grant and cooperative agreement programs through standardization of the types of information required in progress reporting, thereby reducing their administrative effort and costs.

The requirement for grantees to report on performance is the OMB grants policy. Specific citations are contained inCode of Federal Regulations TITLE 2, PART 200-UNIFORM ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS, COST PRINCIPLES, AND AUDIT REQUIREMENTS FOR FEDERAL AWARDS.

Public Comments

Comments are invited on (a) ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information collected from respondents, including through the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology; and (b) ways to minimize the burden of the collection of information on respondents, including through the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology.
