NAPA COUNTY, CA - The Napa County Library and Calistoga Joint Unified School District (CJUSD) are proud to announce a new partnership that will soon give every student in the district easy access to public library materials and services using their existing student ID. Starting January 12, 2026 when students return from Winter Break, their student ID numbers will function as library cards, enabling students to borrow physical books, access e-books and audiobooks, use online research databases, and explore homework help tools, including live homework help seven days a week.
"This partnership removes barriers and puts a world of learning directly into students' hands," said Dr. Audra Pittman, CJUSD Superintendent. "By connecting our students to the library's vast collection and knowledgeable staff, we're expanding opportunities for reading, research, and exploration."
Through this initiative, students will be able to:

No separate sign-up is required. Students simply type CJUSD plus their student ID number to log in online or check out materials in-person. Parents and caregivers may contact the school or the library with any questions about access or borrowing policies.
