Monongahela Conservation District Announces Local Work Group Meeting
Thursday, April 2 at 1:00 p.m. - Morgantown, WV
Morgantown, WV - The Monongahela Conservation District (MCD) invites local residents, landowners, agricultural producers, and conservation partners to participate in its upcoming Local Work Group (LWG) Meeting on Thursday, April 2 at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Monongahela Conservation District Office, located at 201 Scott Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26508.
The purpose of the LWG meeting is to bring together community members and stakeholders to identify local natural resource priorities and help shape criteria for USDA and/or Monongahela Conservation District programs. Input gathered during this session plays a vital role in directing future conservation efforts across the region.
The Monongahela Conservation District serves Marion, Monongalia, and Preston counties, working in partnership with landowners and agencies to protect and enhance soil, water, and related natural resources.
Community participation is strongly encouraged.
