One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week

Mariposa County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49) in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

• One-way traffic control from Tiptop-Usona Road to Streeter Mountain Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, March 9, through Wednesday, March 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. • One-way traffic control from Streeter Mountain Road to Ashworth Road for shoulder work beginning Thursday, March 12, through Friday, March 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
