Santa Rosa County Libraries Receive 101 Wonderbooks Through State-Funded Grant

The Santa Rosa County Library System is excited to announce the addition of 101 Wonderbooks to its collections, thanks to a grant administered through the Panhandle Library Access Network PLAN).

This project was funded under the provisions of the Cooperative Grant Program, part of Florida's Library Cooperative Grant (LCG) initiative, which is administered by the Florida Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services.

Wonderbooks are print books with a ready-to-play audiobook built right inside the cover. Each title allows readers to listen and read along simultaneously, helping to improve reading comprehension, pronunciation, and vocabulary. With a range of titles for all ages-from children to adults-Wonderbooks make reading more interactive, inclusive, and engaging for everyone.

Wonderbooks are now available for checkout at all Santa Rosa County Libraries. Patrons are encouraged to visit their local library to explore these innovative new titles and experience the joy of reading in a whole new way.
