Minister Nufi shares photo highlights from the Central European Defence Cooperation and Western Balkans Ministerial in Slovenia

Minister Nufi: "Closer coordination among allies and partners is essential to safeguarding defence and oeace"

The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Albania, Mr Ermal Nufi, attended the Central European Defence Cooperation (CEDC) and Western Balkans Ministerial Meeting in Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in defence and security and addressing shared challenges in today's security environment.

During the Ministerial, Minister Nufi emphasised the importance of further deepening bilateral and multilateral cooperation, reaffirming Albania's commitment to continuing its active contribution to joint regional and international initiatives.

"Albania remains steadfast in actively contributing to every joint regional and international initiative. The Balkan Medical Task Force is one such initiative and a successful example of regional cooperation, capability development and interoperability in support of Euro-Atlantic integration," Mr Nufi said.
He further stressed:

"In an increasingly complex security environment, closer coordination among allies and partners remains a priority in order to strengthen collective defence and safeguard peace."
