IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 25, 2026 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE President Trump Safely Evacuated From The White House Correspondence Dinner New Mexico - "The reports coming out of the shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner are egregious at every level imaginable," said Chairwoman Amy Barela. "Political violence has no place in our country or our politics, and we must stop normalizing this. Every single elected leader in our country, Democrat and Republican, have a responsibility to speak out against this evil, and failure to condemn this is unacceptable. Enough is enough. I am praying for President Trump, his family, and the attendees at the event for their continued safety. I also want to thank law-enforcement for their heroic action during this senseless act." ### |
