REGISTER NOW: Upcoming Webinars on Manufactured Products Final Rule Implementation
The FHWA has terminated the 1983 Manufactured Products General Waiver to align with the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA). Effective March 20, 2025, the new rule introduces phased implementation for all Federal-aid projects:
- October 1, 2025: The "Final Assembly Requirement" applies to projects obligated on or after this date.
- October 1, 2026: The "55 Percent Requirement" applies to projects obligated on or after this date.
The Office of Infrastructure is hosting an additional external webinar (identical in content to the webinar held earlier this year) to review these phased requirements. Information is as follows:
