RCPD Names Employee of the Year

It is our pleasure to announce the selection of the RCPD's Employee of the Year, Officer Michael Hancock. This recognition is awarded to an employee who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service, consistently going above and beyond in support of RCPD, the City of Rancho Cordova, and our community.

Officer Hancock has been with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office for the past six years and has been assigned to the Sacramento County Main Jail, where he was later selected to work in the Investigative Services Unit (ISU). Officer Hancock rotated to patrol for the City of Rancho Cordova, and after some time displaying his hard work, dedication, and investigative skills, he was selected for the RCPD Crime Suppression Unit (CSU). Officer Hancock enjoys meeting new people and engaging in good conversations with his peers and the public.

Officer Hancock exemplifies the core values of our organization through outstanding work ethic, integrity, teamwork, and proactive enforcement efforts. Officer Hancock's contributions have had a meaningful and positive impact on public safety, departmental operations, and the community we serve.
