PGA Tour announces 2027 Korn Ferry Tour Schedule

2027 Korn Ferry Tour Schedule

Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, October 21, 2026 - The PGA Tour announced today the 2027 Korn Ferry Tour schedule, the 37th season in the Tour's history, which will include 25 events across seven countries and 15 states. The season will begin January 17-20 with The Bahamas Golf Classic at Atlantis Paradise Island and conclude October 7-10 with the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by Virginia's Richmond Region.

As part of the membership criteria and eligibility for the PGA Tour's new competitive structure beginning in 2028, the 2027 Korn Ferry Tour will have added consequence as 40 PGA Tour Cards will be on the line for the 2027 Korn Ferry Tour Season. The top 10 finishers on the 2027 Korn Ferry Tour Points List will earn access to the PGA Tour Championship Series, with the next 30 players gaining PGA Tour Challenger Series membership in 2028. The increase doubles the number of Tour cards from the current model, which promotes a total of 20 players annually.

"The 2027 Korn Ferry Tour Season will be the most competitive season in our Tour's history with players competing for 40 PGA Tour cards and direct access to the PGA Tour Championship Series. This reinforces our mission to identify, prepare, and transition the game's next generation of stars as these players emerge on the PGA Tour" said Korn Ferry Tour President Alex Baldwin. "With a new event, new host venues, and a refreshed schedule, our membership will be tested throughout the season as they compete to reach golf's highest level."

The 2027 schedule will feature 10 televised events on Golf Channel, including all four Korn Ferry Tour Finals events and the regular-season finale, the AdventHealth Championship (August 19-22).

The season will culminate with the four-event Korn Ferry Tour Finals, which will see field sizes decrease for the final three tournaments of the year. The Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation will feature the top 156 players on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List, before the 132-player Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship and the 100-player Compliance Solutions Championship. The Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by Virginia's Richmond Region will once again feature the top 60 players on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List.

For the seventh year, PGA Tour University graduates will join the Korn Ferry Tour in June upon the conclusion of the NCAA Division I National Championship. Seniors finishing Nos. 2-10 in the final 2027 PGA Tour University Ranking will earn Korn Ferry Tour membership for the remainder of the season, starting with the Visit Knoxville Open (June 10-13).

Visa will be introduced as the new title sponsor of the Visa Open (February 11-14) in Bogota, Colombia, the first of five Korn Ferry Tour events in Latin America in 2027.

The 97th Scotiabank Abierto de Chile will be a new addition to the Korn Ferry Tour for the 2027 season. The event, which was first played in 1927 and features past champions such as Gary Player and Roberto De Vicenzo, will debut March 4-7, concluding a four-week stretch through Latin America. The tournament will be played at Prince of Wales Country Club, which has hosted the Korn Ferry Tour for the past four seasons.

Two events will have new host venues for the 2027 Season. The 120th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro (February 25-28) will be held at Olivos Golf Club, which will host the tournament for the 13th time and for the first time since 2024. The Evans Scholars Invitational (July 22-25) will be played at Stonebridge Country Club, which previously hosted the Ameritech Senior Open on PGA Tour Champions from 1991-95, as well as the LPGA Tour's Kellogg-Keebler Classic from 2002-04.
