Charlotte's Only Nationally Ranked Children's Hospital Earns Top Honors for 19th Straight Year

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 15, 2026 - Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital has once again been named a "Best Children's Hospital" by U.S. News & World Report, earning national recognition for the 19th consecutive year. Levine Children's Hospital remains the only children's hospital in the Charlotte region to receive the distinction and was ranked among the nation's best in seven pediatric specialties, while also ranking as the No. 2 Children's Hospital in North Carolina.

U.S. News & World Report's Best Children's Hospitals rankings are considered the most comprehensive source of quality-related information on U.S. pediatric hospitals. Rankings are determined based on key clinical data from nearly 200 medical centers, through a detailed survey that looks at measures such as patient and family satisfaction, patient safety and outcomes, infection prevention, reputation and compliance with best practices.
