As part of ongoing efforts to ensure an affordable, reliable and sustainable power grid, Minister Neudorf will travel to Montana from Oct. 14-17. While there, he will meet with government officials and decision makers to discuss ways to enhance grid reliability through electrical interconnection relationships like the Montana-Alberta Tie Line.
Minister Neudorf will also attend the 2025 Big Sky Bright Future Economic Summit on Oct. 16 in Bozeman, MT to connect with industry leaders and experts on opportunities, challenges and technical developments in the electricity sector. This gathering also provides an opportunity to promote Alberta's competitive electricity market and business-friendly environment that make the province a destination of choice for investors and innovators.
"Electricity plays a significant role in our daily lives and meeting rising demands will require a collaborative approach. By strengthening Alberta's electrical ties with Montana, we're ensuring that families and businesses on both sides of the border will have access to affordable, reliable power for generations to come."
Nathan Neudorf, Minister of Affordability and UtilitiesMission expenses will be posted on the travel and expense disclosure page.
