PBA Athletics Announces 2026 Hall of Fame Class

Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) will welcome three distinguished Sailfish into the Class of 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame, marking the first Hall of Fame induction class since 2018.

Sean Visconti, Carolyn Stone, and Meghan Gilmore will be honored for their accomplishments and service from their time with Palm Beach Atlantic Athletics.

"The PBA Athletics Hall of Fame is about celebrating the people who have helped shape the history and tradition of Sailfish Athletics, and this class is a wonderful representation of that," said PBA Director of Athletics Courtney Lovely Evans. "Sean, Carolyn, and Meghan each made an incredible impact during their time at Palm Beach Atlantic, and their accomplishments continue to be part of our story today. We are thrilled to bring the Hall of Fame back and give our community the opportunity to celebrate three very deserving members of the PBA family."

Legacy on the Diamond

Visconti, a former PBA baseball standout, established himself as one of the top players in program history during his career from 2013 to 2017. Visconti is the Sailfish all-time hits leader, with 254 hits and a career batting average of .344. He totaled 151 runs scored,114 RBIs, and 45 stolen bases. Visconti remains PBA's Division II-era leader in career starts, runs, total bases, and doubles. The former middle infielder earned Independent Collegiate Athletic Association (ICAA) Freshman of the Year honors in 2013 and was named to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) South Region team, helping the Sailfish win the NCCAA Regional Championship in 2015.

Pivotal Leader in PBA Athletics

Stone, the former vice president of Athletics, played a pivotal role in the growth and development of PBA Athletics during her tenure from 2012 to 2019, starting as the director of Athletics before being promoted to vice president in 2018. During her length of service, PBA opened the Rinker Athletic Campus in 2014, the Rinker Sports Center in 2017, and she was instrumental in PBA's acceptance into the Sunshine State Conference in 2017. Under her leadership, the Sailfish athletic department grew from 10 sports to 18, adding varsity programs in men's and women's golf, men's and women's track, men's and women's lacrosse, beach volleyball, as well as the revitalization of cross country. PBA's number of student-athletes doubled from 150 to over 300. She was honored as the NACDA Under Armour DII Athletic Director of the Year in 2019.

From Transfer to All-American

Gilmore, a former women's cross-country standout, transferred to PBA as a former soccer player from the University of Georgia in 2010, and quickly developed into one of the top runners in NCAA Division II. She became the first NCAA Division II All-American in PBA history and claimed 10th place overall at the NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country National Championships. Gilmore also won the individual national championship in the NCCAA, leading the Sailfish to a fourth-place team finish.

Celebrating the Class of 2026

The 2026 Hall of Fame class will be formally inducted during Homecoming & Family Weekend at the Founders Day Chapel on Friday, October 2, before being honored at the PBA volleyball game on Saturday, October 3.

The PBA Athletics Hall of Fame was established to recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievement and contributions to Sailfish Athletics. The Class of 2026 adds three new members to a distinguished group of former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters who have helped shape the history of PBA Athletics.
