Burundi Hails Royal Vision in Favor of Africa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and Development Cooperation of the Republic of Burundi, Édouard Bizimana, on Friday in Rabat hailed the Royal initiatives in favor of Africa, which reflect the enlightened Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the development of the continent.

During his talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Mr. Nasser Bourita, the head of Burundian diplomacy stressed the importance of the initiative launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI within the framework of the Atlantic African States Process, which seeks to establish the African Atlantic space as a key geostrategic framework to strengthen intra-African cooperation and promote peace, stability, and shared prosperity.

Furthermore, Bizimana praised the opportunity offered by the Royal Initiative for the Sahel, which aims to enable Atlanc Ocean access to Sahel countries by connecting them to the transport and communication networks of their regional environment.
