Columbia, MO - The Missouri Pork Association hosted the 27th annual Missouri Pork Classic on June 16, 2026, at Boonville's Hail Ridge Golf Course. This year's tournament was a tremendous success, assembling a total of twenty-seven teams comprised of area producers and industry representatives. Players enjoyed great food and endless fun on the course. Several prizes were awarded during the annual Rib Fest immediately following the tournament, including those listed below.
First, second, and third places were recognized with cash prizes in Flights A and B. In Flight A competition, Raymond James captured first-place honors, with Greg Reed, Keith Whitney, Brent Marcks, and Rob Rush contributing to the winning team. Phillips Farms earned second-place honors, led by team members Matthan Veanes, Josh Gottman, Seth Gottman, and Cyrus Phillips. DNA Genetics finished third, with team members Rob Richard, Mike Sidwell, Rick Richard, and Rob Christine. In Flight B competition, FCS Financial secured the top spot, led by Austin Gaughan, Austin Bailey, David Summers, and Brett Bryant. Coleman Quality Pork followed in second place with team members Dustin Coleman, Grayden Coleman, Jim Fisher, and Bill Kent. Simmons Bank completed the Flight B leaderboard, earning a third-place finish behind the efforts of Bri Brown, Jackson Fork, Anthony Knollhoff, and Patti Coffelt.
Additional cash prizes were awarded in several specialty contests, including Longest Drive, Longest Putt, and Closest to the Pin. Representing the Vaxxinova team, Chelsie McDanel claimed the Longest Drive title, sponsored by Jayce Mountain Pork. Doug Lunsford, competing on behalf of the Pharmgate team, earned Longest Putt honors. The Closest to the Pin award was captured by Austin Gaughan of FCS Financial. The Skins Contest also recognized outstanding play, with winning teams from Raymond James, Ham Hill Farms, and ADM. Congratulations to all of the teams and individuals who participated and contributed to the success of this year's tournament.
A special thank you goes out to everyone who took part in the 2026 Missouri Pork Classic, especially our dedicated sponsors, whose continued financial support helps make this event possible. A huge thank you goes to Lynch Livestock, who not only prepared lunch but also provided and cooked ribs for the Rib Fest. The beverage cart was made possible through the support of Missouri Corn, the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives, and Mt. Zion Homestead Inc. Ameren served as the sponsor of Margaritaville.
An Event Hole Sponsorship allows companies to set up a tent and table on the course and they were supplied with a golf cart. Our event hole sponsors included: AcuFast, United Animal Health and Merck Animal Health.
