Public Safety Day

Join Cary Police and Fire, EMS, other local municipalities, and community partners along S. Academy Street for this free, family-friendly event. Public Safety Day will feature interactive attractions, agency showcases, food trucks, and more than 30 public safety vehicles, including fire trucks and an armored vehicle, giving families an up-close look at the people, equipment, and partnerships behind Cary's approach to community safety. Lowe's Home Improvement will have building kits for kids at their tent for the first 400 visitors, and the first 500 kids to complete the event scavenger hunt will receive a voucher for a free snow cone from Pelicans to use at the event.
