Pumptrack amenity returns to Oso Creek Trail as part of Bike Safety Month

In honor of Bike Safety Month, the City of Mission Viejo rolled out another temporary pumptrack through June 13.

The track will be situated along the Oso Creek Trail in a new location east of the Village Green next to the outdoor fitness equipment at 24932 Veterans Way.

The track will be available free to the public from 7 am to dusk.

A pumptrack is a closed circuit track consisting of rollers, banked turns, and other features that allow riders to use their momentum to propel themselves forward. It's a fun and challenging way to practice bike skills and improve fitness.

Community members are encouraged to enjoy this temporary amenity as well as explore the beautiful Oso Creek Trail. The track is for non-motorized bicycles and scooters, and riders should wear a properly fitted helmet and follow the posted rules.
