Closure Notice: George Izay Park and Surrounding Facilities May 6, 2026
As part of the George Izay Park Irrigation Replacement and Modernization Project and the required Los Angeles County Cross-Connection Test, the water supply at the park will be temporarily shut off from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
The following facilities will be closed and restrooms will be unavailable:
- Olive Recreation Center
- Betsy Lueke Creative Arts Center
- Joslyn Adult Center
- Tennis Courts
This work is part of the project completion and may extend into the following day if needed. Park visitors should plan accordingly, as all water in the park will be shut off during this time.
