Head of the Chinese Mission to the African Union Ambassador Jiang Feng Meets the Chargé d'affaires of the Permanent Mission of the Central African Republic to the African Union

On August 14, Ambassador Jiang Feng, Head of the Mission of China to the African Union, met with Amb. Gilbert Touangai, the Chargé d'affaires of the Permanent Mission of the Central African Republic to the AU.

Amb. Jiang stated that, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China and the Central African Republic have continued to deepen political mutual trust, firmly supported each other on issues regarding their respective core interests and major concerns. Both countries have achieved fruitful outcomes in cooperation in various fields, which benefits the two peoples. Amb. Jiang introduced the Global Governance Initiative, expressing China's willingness to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Central African Republic, enhance communication and coordination on platforms such as the AU, and work together to uphold multilateralism and international fairness and justice.

Amb. Touangai appreciates China's important contribution to promoting world peace and stability and the Global Governance Initiative put forward by President Xi Jinping. He expressed his willingness to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese Mission on important multilateral platforms such as the AU, and safeguard the common interests of the Global South.
