PASADENA, Calif.- The City of Pasadena's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, in partnership with California Golden Gloves, will host the Annual Southern California Regional Boxing Tournament from March 12 to 15, 2026, at Victory Park Recreation Center, 2575 Paloma St.
The competition begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, and again at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 13 . Bouts resume at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 , with the final bouts starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 15 .
The California Golden Gloves Tournament is one of the most prestigious competitions in amateur boxing and has been in existence since 1923. The tournament provides a platform for amateur boxers to showcase their skills and compete at a high level. This year's event will feature top male and female athletes, ages 18 and older, from across Southern California. The City of Pasadena's Villa Parke Boxing Program will proudly be represented by Marvin Gomez, Fatima Martinez, and Adriana Nuñez.
General admission tickets will be available for purchase at the door on tournament days only. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 10 and under.
The California Golden Gloves State Championships will also take place at Victory Park Recreation Center on April 11 and 12.
