Dauphin County Opens 2027 Board Appointment Applications

The Dauphin County Commissioners are now accepting applications from members of the public interested in serving on a variety of boards and commissions appointed by the County Commissioners. Residents can view a more in-depth list of available positions and easily submit an application online by visiting https://www.dauphincounty.gov/boardappointments.

The County anticipates filling vacancies on the following boards and commissions in early 2027:

• Agricultural Land Preservation Board (4)

• Children & Youth Advisory Board (5)

• Tri-County Community Action Commission (2)

• Conservation District Board (1)

• Drug & Alcohol Services (8)

• Fort Hunter Board of Trustees (2)

• General Authority Board (1)

• Hospital Authority (3)

• Human Services Block Grant Planning & Advisory Committee (8)

• Industrial Development Authority/Economic Development Corporation Boards (1)

• Land Bank Authority (1)

• Merit-Based Hiring System Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel (1)

• MH/A/DP Advisory Board (5)

• Dauphin County Planning Commission (2)

• Redevelopment Authority Board (1)

• Visit Hershey & Harrisburg (1)

Residents must submit an application by November 6, 2026, to be considered in early 2027.
