President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan held a meeting with international experts and journalists of the German Marshall Fund of the United States who are in Armenia on a study visit.
The visit was organized through a joint program of the Bucharest office of the German Marshall Fund (GMF) and the Center for Culture and Civilization Studies (CCCS). The purpose of the visit was to provide leading analysts and journalists from several European countries with in-depth knowledge about Armenia's current political and governance systems, civil society, and media environment, with particular attention to electoral processes, democratization, human rights, regional security, and Armenia-EU relations.
During the meeting, the President presented the key priorities of Armenia's foreign and domestic policy, emphasizing the continuity of democratic reforms, the promotion of economic development, and the importance of addressing security challenges. He also touched upon regional developments, outlining Armenia's positions and approaches in the context of ensuring peace, stability, and cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the President answered the questions of the attendees related to Armenia's domestic and foreign policy and public processes.
