Business Insider welcomes two new editorial staffers

Business Insider welcomes two new full-time editorial staffers.

Megan Forrester is joining the Lifestyle Freelance team as an Associate Editor. Previously, she was an Associate Digital Reporter at ABC News, where she covered breaking news and did features including on the papal conclave and the California wildfires. Megan holds a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She will report to Stephanie Pitera Statile.

Clarisa Melendez has joined us as an Associate Audience Engagement producer for video after a successful fellowship. Previously, Clarisa worked at NBC News producing video and at Telemundo Network, where she produced Spanish-language content, managed field production, and contributed digital coverage for live events. Clarisa holds a master's degree from Columbia Journalism School. She will report to Liz Rowley.

Megan and Clarisa are both based in NYC.
