4 February 2026 - The fifth Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Plenary under the two-year Mexican Presidency of Elisa de Anda Madrazo will take place in Mexico City on 11-13 February, concluding FATF Week, which starts on 9 February.

The meetings, hosted by the Mexican Presidency, will see representatives from across the FATF Global Network of more than 200 jurisdictions coming together to discuss the latest issues in the fight against illicit finance.
Over 600 delegates are expected to take part in the Working Group and Plenary Meetings. The Plenary is expected to discuss a wide range of topics, including the mutual evaluation reports of Austria, Italy and Singapore, which assess the effectiveness of countries' measures to combat money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing, and their compliance with the FATF Recommendations.
\r\nOther issues on the Plenary agenda include ongoing work to help countries address evolving threats, harnessing technological innovation to combat crime, and the FATF's list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring.
\r\nNigeria and Jamaica will continue to participate in the meetings under the FSRB Guest Initiative, which aims to broaden regional perspectives at FATF meetings.
