New Student Snapshot: Staize Harrell

For freshman Staize Harrell, Texas is a long way from home. But the Washington state native said she feels right at home on the TLU campus.

"TLU gave me a personal connection while also providing me with amazing opportunities to help me get my nursing degree in a timely manner," she said. "The beautiful campus and cute dog were just a great add on."

Staize says she's looking forward to making new connections and learning new things. "Can't wait to set up my dorm and make new friends!" It's shaping up to be a great-and busy-semester. "Love doing any and all activities and always wanna feed my friends."
