August 13, 2026- Grab your towels and sunscreen, Modesto, we're making waves at 4th Street Park. The City of Modesto is thrilled to announce the reopening of 4th Street Park, new skatepark, and the opening of our brand-new Aquatics Center, a historic milestone made possible through grant funding and Measure H.
This vibrant new space is designed for fun, fitness, safety, and community connection. Whether you're splashing with the family, enjoying a relaxing swim, or racing down one of our exciting water slides, there's something here for everyone.
Summer Public Recreational Swimming begins August 14, 2026, and will go through September 6, 2026. Join us for safe, supervised swimming sessions staffed by trained lifeguards and equipped with modern water features built for all ages.
The new Aquatics Center includes amusement-style features so before entering the Aquatic Center a Liability Waiver is required for each guest. For guests under the age of 18, a Parent and/or Guardian must fill out a liability waiver at the Aquatic Center. The new Aquatics Facility has an occupancy limit of 250 people and entry for each session will be granted in the order the guests arrive.
From thrilling slides to refreshing pools and family-friendly features, the 4th Street Park Aquatics Center is a place to play, cool off, learn water safety, and enjoy the newest attraction in our community.
This is just the beginning; stay tuned for special programs, events, and community celebrations coming soon. Visit the City's website for more information on the Aquatics Center.
